TechFlow News, March 10: According to Cointelegraph, Fairshake—a political action committee (PAC) backed by crypto firms including Ripple Labs and Coinbase—has increased its spending in Illinois congressional races, with less than eight months remaining until the U.S. midterm elections. Fairshake and its affiliated organizations have spent approximately $8.6 million in Illinois races—six times its 2024 spending in the state. The committee currently holds $193 million in available funds and has publicly stated its intention to “oppose anti-crypto politicians and support pro-crypto leaders” in 2026.
