TechFlow News: On March 8, Peter Steinberger, founder of OpenClaw, replied on the X social platform to a netizen’s question—“Are you aware that OpenClaw has launched an official Weibo account?”—stating, “I have never used Weibo; that so-called ‘official Weibo account’ is not under my control.”
The Weibo user “Afternoon Nap” posted in response: “I checked, and they said the materials were provided by their China-region lead within the project team.” Steinberger responded, “If it’s not under my control, then what makes it an ‘official Weibo account’?”
As of now, neither the official Weibo platform nor the “OpenClaw Official Account” has issued any public statement regarding this matter.
