TechFlow News: On February 4, the Ministry of Public Security announced that it has drafted the “Cybercrime Prevention and Control Law (Draft for Public Comment)” and is now soliciting public comments. The deadline for submitting feedback is March 2, 2026. Key provisions include: No individual or organization may knowingly conceal, transfer, purchase, sell on behalf of others, or otherwise disguise or conceal funds, data, or virtual network assets derived from another person’s cybercrime or other criminal activities. Additionally, no individual or organization may knowingly use virtual currencies or other virtual network assets to provide fund transfer services for others if such funds originate from criminal activities.
