TechFlow News: On January 28, Bitget Wallet announced officially that its strategic focus is shifting toward Everyday Finance—financial services powered by on-chain technology—and simultaneously completed a comprehensive UI/UX redesign. At this pivotal moment—with its global user base surpassing 90 million—Bitget Wallet is accelerating the mainstream adoption of on-chain finance in daily life.
The new version introduces a “Pay” tab in the app’s main navigation bar, aggregating features including crypto payment cards, QR-code payments, bank transfers, and in-app shopping. Additionally, new features such as the “Dynamic Island” and “Today View” have been added to deliver real-time transaction updates and enable quick access to recent activities and frequently used functions—further reducing on-chain friction and optimizing the experience for high-frequency daily use.
Bitget Wallet stated that usage scenarios centered on stablecoin-based spending and yield generation are growing faster than trading-related activity: crypto card spending volume has surged over 28-fold year-on-year, while wealth management subscription volume has increased nearly tenfold. This strategic pivot reflects a broader evolution of crypto wallets—from standalone asset management tools into integrated everyday financial accounts covering trading, payments, transfers, wealth management, and asset management. On-chain finance has thus entered a new phase driven by real-world financial utility.
