TechFlow reports that on January 23, Coinbase Institutional’s latest quarterly report, “Charting Crypto,” states that the crypto market—having undergone a correction in Q4 2025—has entered 2026 with a more robust structural foundation. The report notes that the Q4 2025 market pullback effectively removed excessive leverage and speculative positions, placing the market in a healthier state.
David Duong, Global Head of Investment Research at Coinbase, stated: “Although the shadow of leverage-driven liquidations from last year has not yet fully dissipated, we hold a constructive outlook for the crypto market in early 2026.” Combining on-chain data and investor surveys, the report finds that current investor participation is more selective, market positioning is no longer crowded, and risk usage is more restrained—enhancing the market’s resilience against shocks.
