TechFlow reported on January 18 that in response to Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong's statement describing the White House's stance as "constructive," crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett further stated her previous reporting was "factually accurate and logically complete."
Terrett pointed out that Armstrong's response actually confirms the core of her report—that the White House has asked Coinbase to step forward and facilitate an agreement with banks regarding revenue-sharing issues.
Terrett emphasized that, according to her sources, the White House's current support for the crypto market structure bill is contingent upon the successful conclusion of the aforementioned revenue-sharing agreement, and such support is therefore not unconditional.
