Bitget CMO visits Cambodia, partnering with UNICEF to empower digital education
Bitget's Chief Marketing Officer Ignacio Aguirre recently visited Cambodia to advance on the ground the philanthropic initiative "Game Changers Coalition," a collaboration with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). This project empowers adolescents and educators in eight countries worldwide with essential digital skills through innovative formats such as game development. As a key component of Bitget's Blockchain4Her (B4H), both parties are committed to providing 1.1 million girls in developing countries with learning and skill-building opportunities by 2027, promoting gender equality and inclusive growth in the digital era. Will Parks, UNICEF Representative in Cambodia, said: "This innovative approach to learning is effectively helping girls and young people overcome barriers in accessing digital skills. It not only boosts youth confidence but also opens critical pathways for their future participation in and integration into the global digital economy." Kim Sethany, Permanent Secretary of State at Cambodia's Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, noted: "By narrowing the gender gap in digital education, this project empowers women's development and supports their deeper engagement in national digital transformation."
