TechFlow, December 20 — On-chain researcher Specter disclosed on the X platform that the victim of the "transaction history poisoning attack" which resulted in a $50 million loss has issued an ultimatum to the hacker on-chain. The victim stated that a formal case has been filed and is now cooperating with law enforcement agencies, cybersecurity institutions, and multiple blockchain protocols to gather evidence. The message listed six wallet addresses currently under 24-hour surveillance and demanded that the hacker return 98% of the stolen assets to a designated address within 48 hours, allowing the hacker to keep $1 million as a "white-hat bounty" for identifying the vulnerability.
The message further warned that failure to cooperate would lead to escalation through legal and international law enforcement channels, with both criminal and civil liabilities pursued.
