TechFlow, Dec 5 — According to Bloomberg, Poland's lower house of parliament failed to secure the required three-fifths majority to override President Karol Nawrocki's veto on the digital assets regulatory bill.
The bill aimed to implement EU standards for the cryptocurrency industry but was rejected by the president. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk previously stated that passing this legislation was a matter of national security, arguing that the crypto sector had become a channel for Russian subversive activities in the country.
