Khurram Dara stated that his campaign aims to end the New York Attorney General's Office's crackdown on the crypto industry, curb regulatory overreach, and reestablish New York as a hub where innovation can thrive. Under New York's nomination rules, Letitia James must secure 25% of votes at the Republican National Convention held in February 2026 or collect sufficient petition signatures to qualify for the primary election.
