TechFlow news, November 20: According to Bloomberg, a rare cryptocurrency lawsuit from the Trump administration era has reached its conclusion. William Lonergan Hill, co-founder of Samourai Wallet, was sentenced Wednesday to four years in prison by U.S. District Judge Denise Cote in Manhattan for helping launder over $200 million in illegal darknet transactions. Samourai Wallet is a cryptocurrency mixing service provider, and this case became one of the few criminal prosecutions against the cryptocurrency industry during the Trump administration.
