TechFlow, November 18 — According to Reuters, Brazil is considering taxing international payments made with cryptocurrency. Two officials familiar with the matter said the Brazilian Ministry of Finance is weighing extending a financial transaction tax to certain cross-border transfers conducted using virtual assets and stablecoins, which have already been classified as foreign exchange operations by the central bank.
