TechFlow news, November 8 — According to Caixin, Su Binghai, a fugitive from Singapore's largest money laundering case, has had assets worth approximately 260 million RMB confiscated in the UK, including nine apartments in London valued at 15 million GBP (approximately 140 million RMB) and dinosaur fossils worth 12.4 million GBP (approximately 116 million RMB).
Earlier reports indicated that Singaporean police launched a raid in 2023, cracking the country's largest money laundering case involving 3 billion SGD (around 16 billion RMB). Early this year, it was reported that another suspect in the case, Wang Shuiming, was arrested in Montenegro and will be extradited to China. His partner, Su Weiyi, was confirmed as the mastermind behind the Hong Kong cryptocurrency platform scam Atom Asset Exchange. Wang Shuiming had a bank account in Hong Kong holding 2 million HKD and cryptocurrencies worth 110,000 USD.
