TechFlow news, October 21: Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin posted on social media today, highly recognizing Polygon and its co-founder Sandeep Nailwal for their significant contributions to the Ethereum ecosystem. Buterin specifically highlighted Polygon's achievements in hosting successful applications such as Polymarket, early investment in ZK-EVM technology research and development, and building proof aggregation infrastructure. He also expressed gratitude to Nailwal for supporting biomedical research in India through the CryptoRelief project and for returning a $190 million SHIB donation, enabling the implementation of the Balvi open-source anti-airborne disease initiative. Buterin added that ZK technology has made substantial progress, with transaction proof costs now reduced to approximately $0.0001, and suggested that Polygon could consider adopting existing mature ZK technologies to enhance the security of its PoS chain.
