TechFlow news, October 16 — According to Bloomberg, Neha Narula, director of the Digital Currency Initiative at the MIT Media Lab, said that last week's cryptocurrency sell-off is not a reason for panic, and instead demonstrates that the market is functioning as designed.
Neha Narula stated: "There was a major crash last week, but the system worked normally. We aren't discussing bailing anyone out or rolling back transactions." She added that the recent decline in the cryptocurrency market actually proves the market is experimentally operating as intended.
