TechFlow news, October 1: According to official BNB Chain announcements, the team has regained full access to the @BNBCHAIN official account. Previously, the account suffered a security attack during which attackers posted 10 phishing links, resulting in total on-chain losses of approximately $8,000, with the largest single user loss reaching $6,500.
The attacker deployed a phishing contract address, initially injecting $17,800 and later cashing out 100% of the meme token for a profit of $22,000. BNB Chain stated that the root cause of the security incident is still under investigation and that victims' losses will be fully reimbursed. The team pledged to maintain transparency and prioritize security measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
