Event Details
The inaugural ABCDE Capital Summer Hackathon officially launched on August 14, 2023. This hackathon offers participants opportunities for technical exchange and project showcases within ecosystems and developer communities such as zkSync, 0xParc, Celestia, and other hackathon partners and supporters. The competition covers three tracks: ZK Infrastructure & Tools, ZK Applications, and other ZK-related topics. The total prize pool currently stands at $60,000, with final results to be announced and presented at the Singapore Demo Day on September 15.
Project Introduction
This four-week hackathon focuses on building zero-knowledge applications, bringing together developers worldwide to push technological boundaries and create innovative ZK applications and solutions.
Mentors including Jason Morton, Shumo, Leo Fan, Sun Yi, Jiaheng Zhang, among others, will help developers deepen their understanding of ZK and ZK-related applications.
After completing the zero-knowledge technology curriculum, developers will form teams via the BeWater platform and begin developing ZK projects.
The ABCDE ZK Hackathon, in collaboration with sponsors such as zkSync, GSR, Celestia, OtterSec, offers a $60,000 prize pool (which continues to grow). The event platform BeWater will also provide comprehensive ecosystem support, including marketing and fundraising assistance. Additionally, winning teams will have the opportunity to receive investment from ABCDE!

Eligibility

Teams must be able to participate in the Demo Day on September 15, either in person at the ABCDE Singapore office or via online conference.

To claim any prize, one member of the project team must complete identity verification (KYC).

Participants may choose to present a completely new project, or an existing project with clearly defined innovation or redesign introduced during the hackathon period. For fairness, any project developed prior to the hackathon will not be considered during evaluation.
