Paradigm closes $35 million Series A round led by Alameda Ventures and Jump Capital
On December 9, institutional liquidity network Paradigm announced it has completed a $35 million Series A funding round, bringing its valuation to $400 million. The round was co-led by Alameda Ventures and Jump Capital, with participation from Genesis Trading, QCP Capital, Nexo, Optiver US, IMC, GSR Markets, Akuna Capital, Babel Finance, MGNR, Avon Ventures, CMT Digital, and executives from Goldentree Asset Management and Amber Group. Previous seed investors Dragonfly Capital, Digital Currency Group, Vectr Fintech Partners, and Mirana Ventures also participated.
Vietnamese blockchain gaming platform Whydah raises $25 million, with Hashkey among investors
On December 9, Vietnamese blockchain gaming platform Whydah announced it has raised $25 million in funding from investors including Hashkey, Eternity Ventures, Bitscale, Youbi, Morningstar Ventures, Kardia Ventures, Formless Capital, Axia 8 Ventures, Polkastarter, Good Guild Game, and Mask Network. Whydah is currently collaborating with seven major game studios in Vietnam and plans to establish a gaming application center for Vietnamese developers, bringing their best ideas onto blockchain platforms and driving the development of Vietnam’s and Southeast Asia’s blockchain industries.
NFT game PlatoFarm raises $1.8 million in seed round, backed by Block Venture and others
On December 9, multi-chain blockchain and NFT game PlatoFarm announced it has completed an $1.8 million seed funding round. Investors include BlockVenture, Chronos, Cipholioop, Web4Venture, OPCrypto, Formless, K&RLimited, and ZBSCapital. Open-world social game Sipher completes public token sale, raising $44 million
On December 9, open-world social game Sipher announced the successful completion of its public token sale, raising $44 million (9,950.1314 ETH) from 13,159 investors. The expected token price is 0.00024 ETH (approximately $1.10). SIPHER is an Ethereum-based casual fighting and exploration game with the ultimate goal of creating open-world social experiences. It was reported that decentralized exchange CrownSwap has passed a code audit by U.S.-based security auditor Certik.
