According to an EconomicTimes.IndiaTimes report on January 11, NFT derivatives company Bliv.Club announced the completion of its seed funding round, with participation from Sandeep Nailwal, co-founder of Polygon. Bliv.Club aims to reduce barriers to entry into the NFT industry through various next-generation tools and enhance liquidity in the NFT ecosystem via derivatives. The platform will offer a derivatives marketplace enabling ordinary individuals to participate in the NFT market at a smaller scale.
Blockchain webcomic platform TooNFT raises $1.75 million, with HG Ventures and others participating
Blockchain-based webcomic platform TooNFT has raised $1.75 million in funding, with participation from HG Ventures, GBIC, Alphabit, Adaptive Labs, Mindfulness Capital, and Prestige Fund. Built upon the Korean webcomic platform Toomics, which launched in 2015 and has since accumulated 50 million net users (7 million MAUs) and secured over $15 million in traditional venture capital, TooNFT aims to bring millions of global webcomic fans into the decentralized space. Through the TooNFT platform, retail investors can participate in investing in webcomic production. The project will also introduce staking, governance, and P2P investment opportunities for users. A TooNFT spokesperson stated that it will become the first reliable, decentralized, and censorship-resistant fundraising solution in the webcomic industry. Since its initial launch, TooNFT content will be available in 11 languages, including English, Spanish, French, and Mandarin.
NFT aggregator Flip secures $6.5 million in seed funding led by Distributed Global and Chapter One
Recently, NFT aggregator Flip raised $6.5 million in a seed funding round led by Distributed Global and Chapter One. Investors including CMS Holdings, NFT artist PplPleasr (aka Emily Yang), Keyboard Monkey, DeeZe, and Larry Cermak, VP of Research at The Block, also participated. This funding will support Flip in expanding its team and launching its platform. Flip will list cross-market NFT collections, floor prices, trading volumes, and other data and information. The platform will allow users to view and track their NFT portfolios in one place and bundle multiple NFT wallets to monitor personal holdings. The platform is set to open to the public by the end of this month or early February.

Blockchain game Tank Wars Zone has announced the completion of a $2.37 million seed and private funding round, with participation from Fantom Foundation, DFG, JSquare, Newave Capital, HyperChain Capital, Prometeus Labs, ZBS Capital, and LD Capital.
Tank Wars Zone will launch two tokens: WBOND and TGOLD. WBOND is the governance token with a total supply of 1,000,000,000, used for voting, staking, and NFT trading. TGOLD is the in-game currency used for NFT transactions, tank repairs, and upgrades.

Additionally, Ethereum risk management platform Sherlock has partnered with Opyn to provide $10 million in smart contract coverage for Squeeth users. Opyn developers previously described Squeeth as a “new DeFi primitive” that allows stablecoin/ETH liquidity providers to earn trading fees without exposure to Ethereum price volatility.
