According to CoinDesk, Solana-based DeFi project Hubble Protocol has raised $10 million in funding from investors including Three Arrows Capital, DeFiance Capital, Delphi Digital, Digital Currency Group, Crypto.com Capital, ParaFi, Jump Capital, Decentral Park Capital, CMS, Spartan, DeFi Alliance, and Mechanism Capital.
NFT minting platform Metaplex raises $46 million led by Multicoin Capital and Jump Crypto
According to CoinDesk, NFT minting platform Metaplex announced on Tuesday it has raised $46 million in a round led by Multicoin Capital and Jump Crypto. Metaplex said it will use the funds to scale its operations and provide grants to support creators from underrepresented communities. Metaplex, built on Solana, is an open-source protocol designed to help creators mint and auction NFTs.
Animoca Brands raises $358.8 million led by Liberty City Ventures
According to Cointelegraph, blockchain gaming development and investment firm Animoca Brands has raised $358.8 million in funding led by Liberty City Ventures, with participation from 10T Holdings, Gemini Frontier Fund, ParaFi Capital, Provident, Sequoia China, and Winklevoss Capital. The post-money valuation stands at $5 billion. Animoca said the capital injection will fund strategic acquisitions and investments, product development, and intellectual property licensing. The company stated its vision is to build a metaverse that enhances users' digital property rights through NFTs.
