The 2021 Wanxiang Blockchain Hackathon final kicked off with excitement, marking the opening of Shanghai Blockchain Week!
How blockchain empowers digital transformation was the core topic of the 2021 Shanghai Blockchain Week. What will a highly digitized future world look like?
On the evening of October 22, the opening ceremony of the 2021 Wanxiang Blockchain Hackathon marked the beginning of the final showdown phase of the competition and officially kicked off Shanghai Blockchain Week 2021. Hosted by Wanxiang Blockchain Labs, this year's hackathon received strong support from sponsors Dfinity, Protocol Labs, Web3 Foundation, Qtum, and Moonbeam in event preparation and outstanding project selection.
How blockchain empowers digital transformation is the core theme of Shanghai Blockchain Week 2021. What will a highly digitized future world look like? With the challenge theme "Digital World 2077," the 2021 Wanxiang Blockchain Hackathon encourages participants to explore how blockchain can integrate with new infrastructure digital technologies such as 5G, AI, and IoT to build a highly digitalized and intelligent future. Under this overarching theme, each sponsor has also presented its own specific technical challenges.
The competition consists of an online preliminary round and an offline final round. After more than two months of preliminaries, over 30 teams advanced to the finals. While competing under the main theme "Digital World 2077," participants could also choose sponsor-specific challenges to qualify for dual rewards from both the organizer and sponsors.
