The event brought together numerous influential figures from the crypto industry, including Justin Sun, Global Advisor of Huobi HTX; Kong Jianping, Founder of Nano Labs; Ken Zhang, Security Lead at Google Cloud; Chanel, Growth Lead for APAC at Core; Molly (Sixth Uncle of Huobi HTX), Ambassador of HTX DAO; and Alec Goh, Head of HTX Ventures. They shared updates on TRON, HTX DAO, and Huobi HTX, and discussed the future development of Web3 and global financial infrastructure.
At the event, Justin Sun articulated his vision for TRON and Huobi HTX through three key themes: “inheritance, persistence, and construction.” He emphasized that despite complex and shifting geopolitical and financial conditions, TRON and Huobi HTX will remain steadfast through market ups and downs, serving as a safe haven in volatile crypto markets and leading blockchain toward a brighter future.
Reflecting on his personal journey and recent feature on the cover of Forbes, Justin Sun shared insights about the industry, stressing that practitioners should maintain a mindset of “fear, awe, and respect.” Since entering the crypto market in 2012, he said, he has always proceeded with caution, feeling profound responsibility each time a security incident occurs within the industry. He added that over the past 13 years, both TRON and Huobi HTX—and their teams—have consistently upheld these three principles, tirelessly working to demonstrate the positive impact of cryptocurrency on the world. Molly introduced HTX DAO’s achievements and governance progress since its inception and announced the official launch of the “$HTX Holding Voting Tool.” The first batch of formal governance proposals under HTX DAO—“Proposal on Establishing HTX DAO Committee Governance Mechanism” and “Proposal to Launch HTX DAO Official Interview Series ‘DAO You Please Stay’”—will soon open for voting.
She stated that with the rollout of the holding-based voting tool, users will gain greater influence in platform governance. HTX DAO is embracing a more open, transparent, and decentralized approach, collaborating with global users to build a “People’s Exchange” and a “Financial Freedom Port.”
Alec Goh shared his insights and outlook on the evolution of the crypto industry. He noted that the election of Donald Trump—the so-called “crypto president”—has improved regulatory clarity, prompting traditional financial institutions to accelerate their entry into the crypto space. Cryptocurrencies are thus moving beyond the long-standing perception of “regulatory risk,” carving out a new domain at the intersection of technology and finance that combines compliance with strategic value. He believes that global crypto legalization and widespread adoption of stablecoins will be two pivotal drivers for the crypto industry in 2025.
