Monad Testnet is即将 going live—here’s a guide to participating in its native projects
With token launch expectations at an all-time high, the ecosystem is stirring with activity.
Authors: Tofu, TechFlow; Harvey, Monad
As various long-dormant projects陆续 launch their tokens, market interest in airdrop farming has reignited.
Large-scale projects such as Movement, Magic Eden, and Pudgy Penguins have demonstrated inclusive wealth creation effects, significantly boosting market expectations for the current bull cycle’s token launches. Attention is now turning to high-potential projects expected to issue tokens soon.
Among the major projects yet to launch a token, Monad—championing the parallel EVM narrative—stands out as one of the most anticipated Layer 1 blockchains. Its massive $244 million fundraising round has further amplified market anticipation for its mainnet launch.
On December 17, Monad announced the establishment of a foundation, increasing speculation around an imminent token launch. With the official testnet not yet live, early engagement with projects connected to Monad—both within and outside its ecosystem—could position participants to benefit when the mainnet goes live.
There are already many projects officially announcing they will build on Monad, including cross-chain and native initiatives. Given the abundance of existing overviews covering Monad's broader ecosystem,
TechFlow’s editorial team has curated a selection of Monad-native projects and potential participation methods for readers’ reference.
Below, we highlight select projects with detailed insights and will maintain ongoing updates.

Project Overview
1. DeFi Infrastructure
aPriori – MEV-Driven Liquid Staking Platform
aPriori is a native liquid staking platform in the Monad ecosystem, powered by MEV optimization. It aims to enhance network performance and user experience through innovative MEV and liquid staking architectures. Its novel probabilistic validator design significantly reduces latency, making it highly compatible with Monad’s high-performance infrastructure.
The project has raised $10.7 million across multiple funding rounds.
The team hails from professional trading backgrounds. Founder Ray S. previously worked at Jump Crypto and Flow Traders, and contributed to Pyth Network’s development. Co-founder Olivia Z. was a senior software engineer at Coinbase.

How to Participate:
aPriori previously launched its first community task: publish creative content (articles, videos, memes, or research) about aPriori on Twitter, tag @aprMEV, and submit the link to the designated Discord channel. Outstanding posts are recognized with special roles.
Prior to the official launch, join the aPriori Discord to stay updated on developments.
Kintsu – Native Liquid Staking Protocol
Kintsu is a Monad-native liquid staking protocol addressing liquidity constraints in traditional PoS staking. It enables users to maintain capital security while unlocking greater utility and flexibility from their staked assets.
The name "Kintsu" draws from the Japanese art of “Kintsugi,” where broken pottery is repaired with gold. Similarly, Kintsu acts as the “golden thread” mending liquidity fragmentation in blockchain ecosystems, resolving the inherent trade-off between staking and liquidity in PoS networks.
Kintsu has secured $4 million in funding led by Castle Island Ventures.

How to Participate:
Kintsu’s development is relatively advanced. Users can currently participate in its Galaxy Quest: https://t.co/6GwQTptniT
The project offers ambassador and OG roles within its Discord community. Contributors can earn these by creating memes, analyzing data, or contributing code. Active community members who reach level 35 in Discord automatically receive the OG role—details available in the official document.

Holding NFTs & Staking Tokens – Speculative Theories
Besides direct community involvement, Twitter user @FabianoSolana has shared some imaginative theories about potential Monad airdrop eligibility:
-
Backpack Wallet Users & Madlads Holders
Reason: Monad has invested in Backpack and announced Backpack integration on Day 1 of its testnet. Additionally, Solana’s flagship NFT collection Mad Lads has maintained strong support and collaboration with Monad.
-
Wassieverse NFT Holders
Reason: The founder of Wassieverse is an angel investor in Monad. The current floor price of Wassieverse is 20 SOL.
-
Wormhole-Related Users
Reason: Wormhole previously awarded a significant $W airdrop to the Monad community. Robinson Burkey, co-founder of Wormhole, is also an angel investor in Monad. Therefore, $W stakers may also qualify for a Monad airdrop.
-
Pyth-Related Users
Reason: A Monad co-founder is also a maintainer of Pyth and previously launched the Pythenian NFT. Pyth is set to serve as Monad’s official oracle. Approximately 4,000 $Pyth tokens are needed to rank in the top 10,000 holders—an assumed threshold for airdrop eligibility.
