December 18, 2024 — Sophon Mainnet officially launches, introducing the first ZKsync Validium powered by Avail DA. Through Sophon’s staking program, total TVL has surpassed $500 million, while the ecosystem has attracted numerous renowned partners. Sophon is paving a new path for scalability and consumer-centric blockchain applications.
The launch has received strong community support: over 5,800 independent participants have purchased more than 120,000 node licenses, which are now available to claim. The $SOPH token goes live today (temporarily non-transferable), with all user transactions free during the initial phase. Node holders will begin earning rewards starting January 1, 2025, and full token transferability and trading functionality are expected in Q1 2025.
