According to multiple crypto industry insiders who spoke with TechFlow, their Twitter (X) and Telegram accounts were compromised, with security firms tracing the attacks back to the North Korean hacking group DangerousPassword. One affected individual stated they did not click on any phishing links, and the exact method of breach remains under investigation. Notably, the hackers involved in this campaign are highly proficient in Chinese and well-versed in current cryptocurrency industry trends and terminology. TechFlow, Oct. 23 — According to multiple crypto practitioners who spoke with TechFlow, their Twitter (X) and Telegram accounts were hacked. A security firm traced the attacks back to the North Korean hacking group DangerousPassword. One of the affected users stated they did not click on any phishing links, and the exact method of compromise is still under investigation.
