On September 18, Web3 technology company OKX revealed a revamped version of its wallet product, featuring a completely redesigned interface, expanded token discovery capabilities supporting millions of cryptocurrencies and collectibles, and access to over 100 public blockchains and thousands of DeFi applications.
The upgrade was announced during a fireside chat at Token2049 Singapore, where OKX CMO Haider Rafique and F1 driver Lando Norris discussed the intersection of technology, motorsports, and the on-chain world, highlighting the importance of innovation and technology adoption.
Key highlights of the upgraded OKX Wallet include:
• Improved Interface: The new layout offers a smoother experience, simplifying asset management, token swapping, and discovery, providing users with a secure and efficient gateway to diverse on-chain ecosystems.
• Enhanced Token Discovery Page: The updated token page allows wallet users to explore over one million different types of tokens—including popular memecoins on networks such as Solana, Base, Tron, and BNB—with customizable sorting options. OKX Wallet’s DEX adds approximately 120,000 tokens per week.
• Redesigned Marketplace: A simplified user experience enables users to discover and purchase over three million digital collectibles, including Bitcoin Ordinals.
• Ultra-Fast DEX: The wallet’s DEX now delivers industry-leading quote response times and transaction speeds, retrieving and aggregating prices from nearly 500 decentralized exchanges with an average response time of around 50 milliseconds.
• Optimized Navigation Page: Intuitive categorization improves the overall experience, with third-party DeFi protocol aggregators now easily accessible via the “Discover” section.
The revamped OKX Wallet serves as a unified self-custody portal, delivering on-chain experiences across more than 100 networks, including major blockchains such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and TON. In this user experience update, transparency and security remain paramount, with risk assessments conducted on over one million tokens and thousands of DeFi products.
