OKLink Browser becomes AggLayer's first blockchain search engine and Web3 data analytics platform
OKLink Explorer has partnered with Polygon Labs to provide developers with streamlined and seamless access to on-chain data and development tools, supporting efficient development across all AggChains.
Singapore, July 24, 2024—OKLink, a leading blockchain search engine and Web3 analytics platform, today announced it has become the first official blockchain explorer to support AggLayer. AggLayer is a neutral protocol developed by core contributors at Polygon Labs. This integration will provide developers with streamlined and seamless access to on-chain data and development tools across all AggLayer-integrated chains.
AggLayer is a neutral interoperability protocol that connects sovereign chains, unifying liquidity, users, and state in a decentralized environment while maintaining a single-chain user experience. Designed to deliver a more unified experience through innovative features such as a single bridging smart contract, it ensures assets on AggChains remain native rather than wrapped. The protocol is a key component of Polygon’s broader strategy to build a ZK-powered aggregated network.
As the first blockchain search engine and Web3 analytics platform to support AggLayer, OKLink aims to offer developers the following benefits:
-
Streamlined and seamless access to on-chain data and developer tools, including powerful blockchain APIs to support efficient development across all AggChains
-
Advanced data visualization tools and features designed to optimize development workflows
-
Comprehensive support for AggLayer and bridging transactions, providing a complete view of blockchain activity
The wider Web3 community is also expected to benefit from using OKLink:
-
Transparency and trust: Enhanced transparency and trust within the Polygon ecosystem through comprehensive on-chain data
-
Simplified access: User-friendly interfaces that make complex blockchain data accessible to users of all experience levels
-
Informed decision-making: Empowering users to track transactions and analyze networks based on reliable data
Looking ahead, this close collaboration will not only provide additional unified bridging data access for each AggChain but also introduce an aggregated and statistical blockchain data dashboard developed by OKLink. Unified bridging data enables secure, trusted asset transfers and cross-chain communication, enhancing composability across different Layer 2 chains. Expanding unified bridging data will offer a more comprehensive perspective for AggLayer and the broader cross-bridge ecosystem.
OKLink will also be available for chains built with the Polygon CDK (Polygon Chain Development Kit), enabling teams to build custom ZK-based Layer 2 chains tailored to their needs. Chains built using the Polygon CDK can seamlessly integrate with OKLink upon deployment.
Marc Boiron, CEO of Polygon Labs, said: “AggLayer is co-built by top industry contributors with the goal of delivering seamless interoperability and enhanced performance across multiple networks. OKLink is a key contributor to AggLayer, and today’s announcement further highlights its commitment to empowering developers with on-chain data and tools across interconnected chains via AggLayer.”
Simon Zhu, Senior Product Director at OKLink, said: “OKLink continues to expand its presence in leading public chain ecosystems like Polygon. We currently offer on-chain data queries across 44 major blockchain networks. We are excited to welcome AggLayer into this ecosystem, which will further deepen the data experience for users tracking on-chain activities and global blockchain developers alike. Together with Polygon, we look forward to unlocking new possibilities for the future of Web3.”
OKLink is a leading blockchain search engine and Web3 analytics platform offering extensive coverage across 44 public chains—including all active Polygon chains and popular networks such as BTC, EVM L1 and L2s, Tron, and Solana—along with comprehensive on-chain data and developer tools. The collaboration with Polygon Labs marks a significant milestone for OKLink, further simplifying access to blockchain data for developers and the broader Web3 community.
