XT.COM: XT.COM was founded in 2018 and is a Singapore-headquartered digital asset trading platform. We are committed to providing global users with secure, stable, and efficient digital asset trading services.
As a veteran exchange, we have operated securely and stably for six years with zero downtime, always prioritizing user and client asset security. We’ve ranked as high as 16th globally on CMC and 8th in derivatives. With over 1,000 trading pairs listed—the highest number industry-wide—we lead in product availability.
After years of growth, we’ve built a large user base and extensive trading experience. Currently, we have over 7.8 million registered users, over 1 million daily active users, over 40 million ecosystem participants, and 89 core communities worldwide.
Our brand influence continues to grow in both Chinese-speaking and international markets. We will keep striving to become the preferred and most trusted trading platform for users.
TechFlow: More and more exchanges are building their founders’ personal brands—Binance, OKX, Bitget, HTX—all feature their founders actively engaging on social media, even taking on PR roles. XT, however, seems less visible in this regard. How do you (the founders) view this trend?
XT.COM: Frankly, our entire team culture and company ethos emphasize humility and practicality, which is why XT’s voice is rarely heard in the market.
We take a low-key and pragmatic approach to personal branding. We believe an exchange’s core lies in the quality of its products and services—not in cultivating individual personas. We value teamwork and professionalism, avoiding undue emphasis on personal spotlight. That said, we do value communication with users, but our focus remains on product improvement and user experience.
Of course, this doesn’t mean we never speak up—it just means we choose timing and methods that better align with long-term corporate development when engaging publicly.
TechFlow: It appears XT has a strong presence in MENA (Middle East and North Africa). How did you achieve that? Do you have any unique strategies?
XT.COM: First, our DMCC license enables compliant operations in the MENA region. We also hold a U.S. MSB license, and are in the process of applying for a Lithuanian license. These credentials support our global expansion.
These licenses reflect our commitment to global compliance and provide users with a safer, more reliable trading environment.
We’ve also established partnerships with local institutions, participated in regional digital asset events and conferences, and tailored our services and products to meet local user needs.
For the past five years, we’ve been refining our product and localized services in key regions. This year, we’re placing greater emphasis on global markets. TechFlow: What’s your view on the surge of meme coin trading in the current market? What impact do you think this phenomenon will have on the broader crypto market?
XT.COM: The surge in meme coin trading represents a new trend in the digital asset market. While it attracts investor attention, it also brings certain risks and impacts, including:

TechFlow: During the Slerf listing, many exchanges pledged to donate trading fees. XT.COM went further by being the only one to additionally subsidize $1 million in market-making funds. What drove this decision, and what was the strategy behind it?
XT.COM: In the Slerf round, we did participate in fundraising. We were among the first exchanges to voice support (alongside LBank, Bitget, and two others), and we donated all proceeds from trading fees to the project team. The first donation was completed on March 26.
Whether it’s a meme project or another type, we always aim to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with project teams to deliver excellent trading experiences and engaging activities for users.
But early on, we prioritize user needs. As an exchange, we must focus on user trading experience—depth and market sentiment are our top considerations. Providing depth, enhancing liquidity, and supporting token prices represent the best possible support to the community and the project.
TechFlow: In Chinese-speaking markets, meme coin trading is gaining increasing attention. What do you think are the main reasons? Does XT.COM have plans to further strengthen its offerings in this area—or in other mainstream narratives?
XT.COM: We see several reasons. First, meme coins often carry fun, unique concepts or cultural elements that appeal to younger users. Second, social media influence is growing—some meme coins gain traction purely through viral online buzz. Additionally, successful cases in the space have drawn more attention to meme coin trading.
