The Sandbox Hosts Metaverse Game Development Competition
To build momentum ahead of the upcoming surge in blockchain gaming and the metaverse, The Sandbox will host a game development competition called "Game Jam," along with an in-person Meetup event. The organizers stated:

The Sandbox’s First Game Jam in Taiwan
During the Meetup, details will be revealed about the upcoming Game Jam event scheduled for the end of May—marking The Sandbox’s first Game Jam in Taiwan. Previously, The Sandbox has partnered with major enterprises and projects across Web2 and Web3 globally, including PwC, HSBC, DBS Bank, Gucci Vault, Steve Aoki, and Care Bears. Recently, they launched a Global Game Jam in collaboration with Mocaverse offering total rewards of up to 50,000 SAND (valued at over one million RMB) and 20 virtual land plots.
Participants in Game Jam Taiwan will not only have a chance to win substantial cash prizes but also gain opportunities for their creations to be featured and published on The Sandbox platform. Winning entries will be showcased offline at the Asia Blockchain Summit in August, expected to attract over 10,000 attendees. Outstanding teams may also receive incubation and investment opportunities from TempoX.
Game Gang Night: A Special Event for Gamers
Immediately following on March 21, a major “Game Gang Night” will take place, co-hosted by leading game platforms including The Sandbox, Matr1x, and Pomerium. The event is expected to bring together 100–150 gamers, KOLs, and project representatives. Moderated by renowned KOL JZ Invest, a panel discussion will feature Erich from The Sandbox, Ray from Matr1x, and Cherry from Pomerium, discussing how to seize the throne in the upcoming GameFi boom.
