Recently, @fusionistio officially announced: The Endurance mainnet 2.0 version will launch in early March. This will be the first major upgrade since the mainnet's debut and will kick off ecosystem development. Judging from current market sector rotation, the gaming sector has already begun to move, and this mainnet upgrade will positively benefit the performance of the $ACE token. For a project's ecosystem to achieve long-term stable growth, it must have a well-designed token economic model. Endurance aims to build a highly sustainable closed-loop ecosystem. Its disclosed economic model includes a long-term token burn program, with the goal of maintaining deflation of the $ACE token to ensure long-term ecosystem stability.
Comparing with other competitors: Axie Infinity, which surged during the previous bull market, stands out as a notable breakout case. Its subsequent release of the Ronin Network—an Ethereum sidechain—became a preferred infrastructure for many games. However, due to security design flaws, Ronin suffered a major security breach in March 2022.
As a sidechain of Binance Smart Chain (BSC), Endurance can leverage BSC’s inherent security to safeguard the entire chain. Backed by BSC—the blockchain with the largest active user base—it enjoys a natural advantage in user reach.
However, BSC has long faced challenges in scalability and cost, both of which are critical factors determining whether gaming chains can achieve mass adoption.
The Endurance network is built on BAS (Binance Application Sidechain), which directly addresses these issues by offering higher throughput and lower gas fees.
