Sui has closely followed industry trends and launched a series of ecosystem initiatives.
November was a "recovery period" for Web3, with the industry continuously showing growth trends.
Following closely in step with the industry, Sui has launched a series of ecosystem initiatives. The month-long Quest 3 gaming event successfully concluded with rewards announced; Move and Sui ecosystem hackathons & meetups were held across multiple regions; the Star Navigation Program focused on developer education within the Chinese-speaking community; an NFT Growth Program targeting startups was introduced; and ongoing educational content has been consistently published.
Additionally, the continuous roll-out of grant programs, the RPC 2.0 upgrade, and testing of new features like Sui zkSend have further promoted widespread adoption of Sui and driven ecosystem development!

Latest Network Updates
1. Sui Network Update

In November, the Sui mainnet underwent two major iterative updates. Developers can refer to the network update schedule to stay informed about update frequencies and timelines for devnet, testnet, and mainnet, enabling faster synchronization. As of now, the Sui network has been upgraded to Devnet v1.15.0, Testnet v1.15.0, and Mainnet v1.14.2. For details on recent version upgrades, please read this article.
2. BSCNews Report: Surge in Sui Network Data

Mid-November, BSCNews, a leading blockchain media outlet, released a research report analyzing Sui's strong ecosystem growth over six months since mainnet launch. Notable achievements include: (1) TVL — surpassing $176 million USD; (2) Trading volume — exceeding $100 million USD in the past seven days; (3) On-chain transactions — cumulative total over 2 billion; (4) Daily active addresses — over 17,000. 3. Sui zkSend Enables Direct SUI Transfers via Link

Sending SUI using zkSend is much simpler than copying and pasting wallet addresses followed by authorizing token transfers. Recipients don’t even need a Web3 wallet. After clicking the zkSend link, recipients can choose to create an account via zkLogin, allowing anyone to interact with Sui using existing credentials from services like Google or Twitch. 4. Sui Launches RPC 2.0 Beta

To address known issues with the current RPC, Sui is preparing to launch a new RPC service based on GraphQL—Sui RPC 2.0. GraphQL is an open-source data query and manipulation language designed to simplify APIs requiring complex data queries. Users can currently access read-only snapshots of the beta version on both Sui mainnet and testnet. The existing JSON-RPC will remain the primary service until its deprecation at the end of Q1 2024. 5. Sui Explorer Now Supports Verified Move Code Viewing

The Sui Explorer now supports viewing source code for certain packages directly in the interface, including but not limited to: 0x1 | move-stdlib, 0x2 | sui-framework, 0x3 | sui-system, 0xdee9 | deepbook. This new feature enables Sui developers to easily locate, read, understand, and share Move code, streamlining development and auditing processes. Read more
6. Official Partnership Announcement with Space and Time

By connecting to verifiable off-chain data and computation via SQL proofs from Space and Time, zkLogin achieves stronger data-driven capabilities. SQL proofs offer three key advantages for zkLogin: secure and provable private user data management, linking in-app activities with on-chain transactions, and encrypted storage of salts. The development of GraphQL RPC will continue to realize all envisioned functionalities, gradually evolving zkLogin into a more powerful tool. Read more
7. Sui Collaborates with Hub71 to Support Ecosystem Projects

At the end of November, tech incubator Hub71 announced a partnership with Mysten Labs, engaging deeply during Abu Dhabi Finance Week to support new projects building on Sui. Participating teams will receive technical expertise and support from Mysten Labs, as well as mentorship, resources, and global networking opportunities from Hub71, helping them expand their global impact. Nine projects have been selected to receive a total of $225,000 in funding through the Sui Academic Research Grants. 9. Sui Foundation Announces Seventh Round of Grants

The Sui Foundation is committed to supporting developers, builders, educators, researchers, and other community members advancing and promoting the Sui ecosystem. Its grant programs include Builder Grants, Developer Grants, Education Grants, and Academic Research Grants. To date, nearly 100 projects have successfully received over $5 million in funding. In November, the Sui Foundation announced the seventh round of developer grants, supporting Sui-based ecosystem projects primarily in DeFi, payments, infrastructure, and oracles. View grant list.
Community Activities
Sui places high importance on cultivating its developer ecosystem, launching multiple initiatives to support developers and learners, such as the Star Navigation Program for Chinese-speaking developers, the NFT Growth Program for startups, and consistent publication of educational articles. Additionally, the Quest 3 gamified reward campaign was launched, and Move and Sui ecosystem hackathons & meetups were successfully held worldwide, offering generous prizes to attract more builders to the Sui ecosystem!
1. Quest 3 Concludes, Distributing 5 Million SUI

The final review phase of Quest 3 ended at midnight Beijing time on December 1, with winners announced. With a total prize pool of 5 million SUI, 164,000 participants received rewards. Centered around gaming, the event processed millions of transactions. Thanks to community participation, engagement and interactivity significantly increased. To uphold integrity and fairness, and ensure the long-term health of Quest, five types of violations were clearly defined and disqualified from rewards. Read more
2. Sui Partners with SUMM3R to Launch NFT Growth Program

Sui collaborates with SUMM3R on an NFT Growth Program that offers six weeks of professional support and mentorship from industry experts to foster long-term growth of NFTs in the Sui ecosystem. Graduating teams will each receive $50,000 in funding from the Sui Foundation and gain opportunities to pitch to prominent Web3 venture capital firms and funds. Read more
3. Sui Meetup Thailand Offline Event

Hosted by the Sui Foundation and Contribution DAO, the Sui Meetup Thailand took place in Bangkok from 14:00 to 20:00 local time on November 11. The event brought together various Sui ecosystem projects, Thai and regional Sui communities, supporters, and enthusiasts for networking and discussion. On October 21–22, a hackathon co-hosted by the Blockchain Student Association and Sui saw participation from over 100 students across more than 13 European universities. 3. Turbos Finance Offers Efficient Smart Routing

The Turbos team began learning and developing on the Sui devnet in 2022 and launched on mainnet in May this year. As a DEX, Turbos offers swapping, liquidity pools with smart routing, and gamified DeFi features native to Sui. It differentiates itself from other DEXs with a smart routing function focused on the USDC stablecoin.
