Navigating Web3 tides with focused insightsOn December 6, renowned director and actor Stephen Chow shared the music video for new song "Nobody" by Chinese-American rapper Jin Au-Yeung (MC Jin) on his Instagram, hinting that Moonbox’s NFT collection Nobody may soon be launched. "Nobody" was created by Jin at the invitation of Moonbox First Creator Stephen Chow as a promotional piece for the NFT series of the same name. As an AI & Web3 project backed by OKX Ventures, Moonbox is likely to launch the Nobody NFT series on both its own platform and the OKX NFT marketplace.
Jin's latest music video "Nobody" draws creative inspiration from Stephen Chow’s iconic underdog characters, featuring voice contributions from Chow himself. The video references classic scenes from films such as *Kung Fu Hustle*, *The God of Cookery*, and *Shaolin Soccer*, while also including Easter eggs from movie props seen in *Out of the Dark* and *King of Destruction*, promising fans a unique audiovisual experience.
As early as July 2023, Moonbox officially secured the rights to use Stephen Chow’s film IPs for NFTs, including *Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons*, *Journey to the West: The Demons Strike Back*, and *The Mermaid*. The team plans to release NFTs and AI applications for NFT holders by the end of this year—further confirming expectations around the upcoming launch of the Nobody NFT collection.
Chris Chan, Stephen Chow’s agent, stated that Mr. Chow has long wished to create a native Web3 IP that brings top-tier Chinese storytelling into the Web3 space. The design inspiration behind the upcoming Nobody NFT series indeed stems from the spirit embodied by Stephen Chow: the power of ordinary individuals achieving extraordinary things.
