OKX collaborates with McLaren to co-design a limited-edition stealth mode livery for the MCL60 race car
McLaren Racing, together with its principal partner OKX, unveiled a limited-edition stealth mode livery design for the McLaren MCL60 F1 car at the 2023 Singapore Grand Prix and the 2023 Japanese Grand Prix.
September 13, McLaren Racing and its principal partner—global leading Web3 technology company OKX—unveiled a limited-edition stealth mode livery design for the McLaren MCL60 F1 car at the 2023 Singapore Grand Prix and the 2023 Japanese Grand Prix. The event was attended by OKX Chief Marketing Officer Haider Rafique, McLaren F1 Team drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, and Matt Dennington, Executive Director of Partnerships and Accelerators at McLaren Racing.

OKX Chief Marketing Officer Haider Rafique said: "Whether on the track or in the Web3 world, teamwork, creativity, and innovation are fundamental to winning—the inspiration behind the stealth mode livery. Asia is one of the most active regions in Web3, and this initiative celebrates Formula 1's return to the Asia-Pacific region while paying tribute to Asian Web3 culture. At the same time, we wish drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri the very best."
The stealth mode livery was co-designed by OKX and McLaren, transforming McLaren’s traditional color scheme by adding black accents to the team’s iconic papaya orange. This sleek, understated design reflects both brands’ shared belief in striving for excellence behind the scenes—embracing change and innovation.
Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren Racing, said: "Our partnership with OKX continues to grow stronger. Together, we’ve reimagined our car’s colors, bringing something exciting and unique to two fantastic races in Singapore and Japan. We hope fans enjoy it as much as we do and take the opportunity to visit the fan zone and engage with our team. OKX has been a steadfast supporter of McLaren, and we’re proud to accelerate our partnership on Formula 1’s global stage."
To bring fans closer to the stealth mode experience, OKX will open the McLaren-themed fan zone—OKX Race Club—at Chimneys in Singapore from September 14 to 17. Throughout the race weekend, OKX will feature the stealth mode display car, racing simulators, limited giveaways, and more. Free tickets are available here.
Additionally, the limited-edition T-shirts for this race event are provided by McLaren Store and were distributed to attendees of the Web3 conference Token2049 in Singapore prior to the race.
