The week-long "OKX Hong Kong Football Week" event attracted over 15,000 local football and Web3 enthusiasts, influencers, and media participants.
On September 11, 2023, OKX, a leading global digital asset exchange and Web3 technology company, and official sleeve sponsor of Manchester City Football Club, hosted the "OKX Hong Kong Football Week" from September 3 to 9 on Mong Kok's famous Sneaker Street in Hong Kong, drawing large crowds of sports and football enthusiasts.
The week-long "OKX Hong Kong Football Week" attracted over 15,000 local football and Web3 fans, influencers, and media. The event featured displays of Manchester City’s trophies and signed jerseys, an appearance by club legend Paul Dickov, and an AR interactive football experience zone. Committed to increasing user engagement with Web3 and digital assets, OKX also incorporated educational content into the event, including a sharing session by Lennix Lai, OKX’s Global Chief Business Officer.
On September 3, OKX brought the iconic Premier League and FA Cup trophies to Hong Kong for the first time. On September 4, Manchester City exhibited their two most recent major tournament trophies won in 2023 as part of their "Treble" trophy tour.
