According to the announcement, the first phase of the Mars Initiative will run from June 2023 to June 2024 and consists of 12 stages. Each stage will feature themed activities during which users must complete designated tasks and promptly mint Space NFTs. One lucky participant from each stage will be randomly selected to win a monthly prize and qualify as a candidate for a space trip. In the second phase, one candidate will be chosen from these 12 finalists based on physical fitness, pre-flight training, user contributions, and other factors to join Justin Sun on a space journey. The space trip is scheduled to take place after July 2024.
The first stage of the Mars Initiative runs from 8:00 PM, June 14 to 11:59 PM, July 5, Beijing time. Users must complete one-time, recurring, or monthly-settled tasks—such as spot trading, C2C trading, futures trading, and wealth management—before July 5 to earn Space NFT rewards. Completing each designated task grants one opportunity to mint a Space NFT, with no upper limit on the number an individual can obtain.
Step-by-Step Guide: How to Mint a Space NFT?
Step 1: Open the official Huobi exchange website and click “More”
Step 2: Click the “Mars Initiative” button
Step 3: Enter the “Mars Initiative” event homepage
Step 4: Complete various tasks
Step 5: Enter your TRON blockchain address
The Space NFTs are issued on the TRON network and can be freely traded on NFT marketplaces. Therefore, users must bind a TRON blockchain address on the event page to receive their NFTs.
Step 6: View minted NFTs under “My NFTs”
Users gain NFT minting opportunities by completing tasks. After successful minting, they become eligible for prize draws. Winners of the monthly prizes and space-trip candidate spots will be selected based on NFT serial numbers.
It is worth noting that during the campaign, users have a limited number of free mints per day. Unused minting opportunities in a given stage do not carry over to the next stage and must be used promptly. The draw for the first stage will be held at 8:00 PM, Beijing time, on July 20.
Notably, winners of the first stage of the Mars Initiative will not only become candidates for the space trip but will also receive an additional premium benefit from Huobi: 180 days of zero-fee spot trading.
