OKX sponsors the Tribeca Film Festival for the second consecutive year
The Tribeca Festival will launch an NFT Pass through OKX, and rename the "BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center" to the "BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center OKX Theater."
On May 31, OKX, a leading global digital asset exchange and Web3 technology platform, announced it will continue as the title sponsor of the Tribeca Festival for the second consecutive year as its first global digital asset partner. This year, OKX will launch an NFT Pass for the festival and rename the "BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center" to the "BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center OKX Theater."
The collaboration between OKX and the Tribeca Festival aims to combine OKX’s global influence, open brand partnership ecosystem, and its rapidly expanding OKX Web3 ecosystem with the creativity and imagination of the Tribeca Festival by leveraging innovative technologies such as digital assets, Web3, and the metaverse. The partnership seeks to break down barriers, enhance inclusivity, and create new opportunities for artists and creators.
Additionally, OKX Chief Marketing Officer Haider Rafique, McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown, and McLaren F1 driver Lando Norris will participate in a panel discussion at the Tribeca Festival on June 13 titled “Need for Speed: How Technology Is Transforming Sports, Film, and Crypto.” Haider Rafique will also deliver a keynote speech on how brand empowerment is shaping the cryptocurrency space. Thanks to OKX's efforts in Web3 innovation, global partnership expansion, and growth in new markets, the company continues to scale rapidly.
Jane Rosenthal, Co-Founder and CEO of Tribeca Enterprises, said: “From financing art and entertainment to redefining audience experiences, Web3 technology is transforming how we create and consume content. In our second year of partnership with OKX, we’re demonstrating how the Tribeca Festival integrates technology into culture and the creator ecosystem. As we deepen our collaboration with OKX, we look forward to unlocking even more creative possibilities through emerging technologies.”
Haider Rafique added: “We believe Web3 technology will empower creators—helping them grow, protect their work, and thrive in the years ahead. The Tribeca Festival is more than a red-carpet event; it brings creators together to discuss the future of art, culture, and entertainment. Web3 is inseparable from these conversations, and OKX is committed to building tools that enable everyone to become a creator in this beautiful new world.”
This partnership follows OKX’s launch of its global brand campaign “REWRITE THE SYSTEM,” which advocates replacing today’s centralized systems with the new Web3 paradigm. Notably, the OKX Web3 Wallet is the most comprehensive heterogeneous multi-chain wallet available, supporting nearly 60 public blockchains with unified functionality across mobile app, browser extension, and web platforms, integrating five core features: wallet, DEX, earn, NFT marketplace, and DApp discovery.
