Below are our major achievements from the past year:
Partnerships
La Prairie
We launched "The Space Beyond by Carla Chan"—an NFT drop unlike any other. STL enabled Carla Chan and her team to reach both crypto and non-crypto users. Non-Web3 users could use their email addresses and credit cards to request proof of ownership; upon verification, they could mint the NFT directly into their chosen wallet. The entire process was fully non-custodial, powered by proof-of-possession technology.
NiftyTailor
We partnered with NiftyTailor—the home of the coolest APEs—to deliver the market’s first on-chain customizable NFT derivatives for all BAYC/MAYC holders. The future of NFT derivatives will be designed by Nifty Tailor and powered by TokenScript. 🔥🔥
We’re helping IP holders build communities, increase utility, and empower every designer to create unique atmospheres and experiences for their derivative collections. (Read more)
Smart Token Labs’ technology empowered Perion to expand their Season Rewards NFT (SRNFT), enabling top players in their gaming guilds to redeem in-game tokens for physical goods and additional benefits.
Devcon VI
Smart Token Labs' proposal for attestation-based ticketing was officially adopted and implemented at Devcon VI. This marked the world's first successful real-world use case of Web3-native solutions for offline ticketing, offering:
Permissionless Perks: Third-party platforms can authenticate ticket holders without requiring permission.
NFT Minting: Enabled across four different blockchains via identity attestations. Over 1,900 Devcon attendees minted NFTs.
QR Code: Usable in real life—for merchandise distribution and event access.
NFT Derivatives: Devcon attendees gained access to exclusive benefits from Smart Token Labs, including minting verified on-chain NFT derivatives such as World of Women and Cool Cats.
LuxLock
Smart Token Labs built a custom application for Luxlock, delivering a token-gated online shopping experience via our Brand Connector—enabling them to engage new customers based on digital asset holdings and reward NFT holders with exclusive products and content.
Klaytn
Our strategic collaboration with the Klaytn Foundation aims to co-develop next-generation Web3 products, building essential solutions for a fully open, community-driven, and developer-owned ecosystem.

AlphaWallet
AlphaWallet achieved the significant milestone of over 750 forks, becoming the most forked fully open-source EVM-compatible mobile wallet today. In 2022, AlphaWallet was consistently ranked among the industry’s top NFT wallets.

Brand Connector
Brand Connector is a simple tool that allows brands to customize content, offers, or rewards for their target audience based on any NFT in a user’s wallet. In 2022, with the launch of the Brand Connector website, its cross-chain capabilities were expanded.

Brand Extender
Brand Extender is the latest addition to Smart Token Labs’ core tech stack. It enables existing NFT collections to create fully on-chain derivative NFTs as part of brand collaborations or business expansions. Any open IP-backed NFT can generate one or a set of on-chain NFT derivatives.

Events
ETH Denver
At ETH Denver, STL hosted a hackathon to experiment and build attestation-based ticketing. Winners received tickets to Devcon VI, with travel and accommodation covered for attending Devcon in Colombia.
DevConnect
At Devconnect in Amsterdam, Smart Token Labs hosted workshops on identity and formed a working group to bring together experts in the attestation field, define standards, and mature the technology through experimentation.
DevCon VI
In addition to implementing attestation ticketing at Devcon VI, Smart Token Labs was also a supporter of the conference, showcasing our latest technologies at the sponsor booth. Our CTO, Weiwu Zhang, delivered a talk on tokenization and hosted an in-person event during Devcon.
COSCon'22
Smart Token Labs served as the official provider of the proof-based NFT collectible for the 7th China Open Source Conference 2022 (COSCon'22), hosted by OPPO on October 29–30, 2022.
Additionally, we’ve completed a brand upgrade!
