TechFlow, September 26 — According to Christine Kim's summary, Ethereum developers have confirmed that the Fusaka upgrade will raise the block gas limit to 60 million. Although Geth, Lighthouse, Nimbus, and Prysm client teams have not yet released testnet upgrade versions, developers have reached consensus to increase the default block gas limit from 45 million to 60 million in the Fusaka mainnet release. The first public testnet upgrade for Fusaka is scheduled to launch next Wednesday (October 1), and the Ethereum Foundation plans to initiate shadow fork testing on Holesky tomorrow.
