TechFlow, September 16 — According to Bloomberg, SC Ventures, the venture investment arm of Standard Chartered, plans to raise $250 million for a fund focused on digital asset investments in the financial services sector.
Gautam Jain, operating partner at SC Ventures, said on the sidelines of the Money 20/20 fintech event in Riyadh on Monday that the unit intends to launch the fund next year, with part of the capital coming from investors in the Middle East and the fund's investment scope covering the globe.
