TechFlow news, September 15 — According to an official press release, PayPal announced on September 15, 2025, the launch of a new feature called "PayPal Links," allowing users to send and receive funds via personalized one-time links within any conversation. The feature is now live in the United States and will expand to markets including the UK and Italy later this month.
Meanwhile, PayPal will integrate cryptocurrency functionality directly into its app, enabling U.S. users to conveniently send digital assets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and PYUSD in the near future. Notably, person-to-person transfers between friends and family via PayPal and Venmo will continue to be exempt from 1099-K tax reporting.
