TechFlow, September 6 — Michael Saylor's Strategy (MSTR) failed to be included in the S&P 500 index on Friday, despite reporting strong quarterly earnings and meeting all criteria for inclusion. As a result, MSTR dropped 3% in after-hours trading, erasing intraday gains. Robinhood (HOOD) was unexpectedly added to the S&P 500, driving its shares up 7% after the close. The change will take effect on September 22.
