TechFlow news, September 5 — According to the Belarusian National News Agency, on September 5, 2025, Belarusian President Lukashenko emphasized the need to establish transparent rules and effective regulatory mechanisms for the cryptocurrency sector during a conference on digital token development. He noted that the sector is currently regulated by the High-Tech Park under Decree No. 8 "On the Development of Digital Economy," but inspections by the state regulatory committee revealed violations in financial operations and outflows of investment funds. Lukashenko demanded clear delineation of responsibilities between government agencies and the High-Tech Park in cryptocurrency regulation, and called for new legislation to ensure national financial security while attracting domestic and foreign investors to confidently develop businesses within Belarus's digital economy.
