TechFlow, September 3 — According to Jinshi Data, on Tuesday, President Trump told reporters in the Oval Office at the White House that his administration would request the Supreme Court to expedite a ruling on the global tariff case, aiming to overturn a federal court decision declaring several of his tariffs illegal. He emphasized that maintaining current trade policies was crucial. Trump said his administration would file an appeal with the Supreme Court as early as Wednesday and warned that if the earlier appellate court ruling took effect, it would "be devastating to our country."
He stated, "We will ask the Supreme Court to expedite the ruling—we need a decision as soon as possible." Trump claimed, "The stock market is falling because markets need tariffs; they crave tariffs." However, market analysts believe corporate bond issuance and budget concerns in developed nations are the main reasons for the stock market decline.
