TechFlow, Aug 31 — According to CoinDesk, citing a recent report by Outlier Ventures, Web3 startups raised a total of $9.6 billion in Q2 2025, marking the second-highest quarterly funding on record. Although the number of deals dropped to 306—the lowest in two years—average deal sizes increased significantly. Infrastructure projects were the most favored, with median round sizes ranging from $70 million to $112 million. Series A funding saw a strong rebound, with a median of $17.6 million. The report indicates that investors are shifting from broad speculation toward strategic investments, focusing particularly on projects providing infrastructure for Web3.
