TechFlow, August 26 — According to crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett, there are rumors that Caroline D. Pham, acting chair of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), will join the crypto payments company MoonPay after a new chair is confirmed. MoonPay declined to comment on the speculation, while a CFTC spokesperson did not deny the report, stating only that Pham had mentioned in May she would return to the private sector after the confirmation of a new chair, but remains committed to advancing the president's cryptocurrency-related agenda for now.
