TechFlow news, on August 22, according to an official X announcement, Adventure Layer announced the reimagined version of Dark Forest, called Dark Forest Adventure Round, will launch on mainnet on September 1, 2025. This version is a remake tailored for AI Agents with integrated financialization mechanisms. The game will be open for 30 days, with daily rewards distributed, allocating a total of 15,000 $AGLD to players.
This remake will introduce new mechanics such as direct $AGLD purchase of Energy and the "LootSilver Leaderboard".
Dark Forest is recognized as a landmark game in Ethereum's history, embodying the core principles of fully on-chain gaming: decentralization, transparency, and verifiability, and was among the first applications to serve as a testing ground for zero-knowledge (ZK) technology. AGLD has built Adventure Layer, specifically customized for on-chain AI gaming.
