TechFlow, August 15 — According to Cointelegraph, American Bitcoin, backed by Trump, has reached a procurement agreement with Bitmain to purchase 16,299 units of Antminer U3S21EXPH model equipment, with a total computing power of 14.02 EH/s, in a deal worth approximately $314 million. To address U.S. trade tariffs on hardware manufactured in China, Bitmain plans to establish its first mining machine production facility in the United States by the end of 2025 and is considering setting up its headquarters in either Florida or Texas.
