TechFlow, July 28 — Polimec, a decentralized fundraising platform in the Polkadot ecosystem, announced that after extensive efforts, it will be forced to cease all commercial operations. Due to changes in market conditions, active user participation has fallen far below expectations, particularly with investment demand for Substrate-based tokens nearly disappearing, making the project unable to sustain itself. Although the team continuously worked hard and maintained high compliance standards, ongoing operations have become unsustainable due to resource exhaustion. Polimec will support users in withdrawing assets back to Polkadot or Asset Hub as planned, and ensure all investors participating in funding rounds receive mainnet tokens from their respective funding rounds. Founded in 2022, Polimec aimed to create a decentralized, community-driven, and regulatory-compliant fundraising protocol. In 2024, the platform successfully launched a live parallel chain and supported fundraising for three projects.
