TechFlow, July 22 — According to Bloomberg, Consensys, the software company founded by Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin, plans to lay off 49 employees, approximately 7% of its workforce.
A company spokesperson said the restructuring aims to improve overall profitability. Consensys recently acquired a startup with about 30 employees, who will remain at the company. Meanwhile, Consensys still plans to continue hiring for other roles. The company's largest office is located in Brooklyn.
