TechFlow, July 11 — According to Blockworks, gaming platform Remix (formerly Farcade) has raised $5 million in a seed round led by Archetype, bringing its total funding to $6.75 million. Variant, Coinbase Ventures, Lemniscap, and Justin Waldron, co-founder of Zynga, also participated in the round.
Remix plans to monetize through advertising and revenue sharing from in-app purchases. Users can currently link their Farcaster and World identities to the mini-app, with on-chain monetization tools set to launch in the coming weeks. Remix is already live on Telegram (powered by TON) and the World app, and will soon be released within the upcoming new version of the Coinbase Wallet.
